Patagonia's taken the classic sun-hat and tweaked it to make a stuffable version for surfing, fishing or paddling. Under a searing sun, the generous brim works like an awning. It shades the face and neck, and pulls double-duty to reduce glare. A soft chin strap keeps the hat secure if you're caught in the spin cycle at your favorite break. It tucks away when not in use. The front brim is reinforced to retain its shape when wet. Made from soft, fast-drying, easy-care 3.8-oz. nylon with a DWR (durable water repellent) finish.
